Service Booking Policy

1. Deposits and booking confirmation
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking with TopsLaptops. Your booking is not secured until the deposit has been successfully paid.
2. Cancellation windows
- No parts required: cancellations with at least 24 hours notice are eligible for deposit refund
- Parts required: cancellations within 72 hours may be non-refundable due to pre-ordered parts
- No-show: deposit may be forfeited, subject to discretionary goodwill credit as stated in our Terms
3. Distance service booking rights
If you book as a consumer at a distance, you may have a 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
If you ask us to begin work during the cooling-off period, and then cancel, you may be required to pay for work already carried out up to the cancellation time, as permitted by law.
Where a service is fully performed within the cooling-off period at your express request, your cancellation right may end once the service is complete.
4. Statutory service rights
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right for services to be performed with reasonable care and skill.
